I am passionate about breast cancer awareness and finding a cure for this terrible disease that afflicted my Grandmother, my Mother in-law and took the life of one of my best friends when she was only 30 years old!! Since then, I have been very active in trying to raise awareness by purchasing “pink” products, donating to charities, getting a pink ribbon tattoo and even driving a “warriors in pink” Ford Mustang.

Komen for the Cure - www.Komen.org One of the best charities that is helping in this fight to end breast cancer!This charity has raised billions of dollars and has used it to help lower income women get free mammograms, help raise awareness for breast cancer, fund research for a cure and much more. These are the people who have ensured our liberty at a very high cost! They sacrifice daily so that we can continue to enjoy the blessings of liberty! The following are charities that our helping in a great way.
Wounded Warriors Project - www.woundedwarriorsproject.org Their mission is to raise awareness and enlist the public’s aid for the needs of severely injured service men and women, to help severely injured service members aid and assist each other, and to provide unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of severely injured service members. Their mission is to be strongly committed to helping those who have selflessly given to our country and have returned home with serious disabilities and injuries since September 11, 2001. They believe it is their duty and our honor to assist severely injured Servicemen and Servicewomen and their immediate families by raising donations of money, building materials and professional labor and to coordinate the process of building a home that provides maximum freedom of movement and the ability to live more independently. This is a great charity that not only offers help to our men and women in uniform, such as financial planning, understanding military benefits, mental health care, and more. It also offers a lot to the family members of our military with programs like the military spouse scholarship program, family retreats, sending military children to camp and SO much more. This is an excellent charity! We have been very blessed with the opportunity to sponsor two children over the last several years. In addition to our donation that goes directly to help our sponsored child, we write and receive letters from our child, we get regular updates and photos on how she is doing in school, health and family.
